How it works
Yearly income is the monthly amount multiplied by 12. Weekly income divides the yearly total by 52, and daily income assumes a five-day working week.
The hourly figure divides weekly income by the hours you work each week, so it changes if you enter a different schedule.
Yearly = Monthly x 12
Weekly = Yearly / 52
Hourly = Weekly / Hours per weekExample
4,500 per month is 54,000 per year, about 1,038 per week and roughly 25.96 per hour on a 40-hour week.
Frequently asked questions
How do I convert monthly income to yearly?
Multiply it by 12. If your income varies, add up the actual months or use your average month.
Why divide the year by 52 rather than multiply the month by 4?
A month is about 4.33 weeks, not exactly 4. Using the yearly total divided by 52 keeps the numbers consistent.
Is this gross or net?
It follows what you enter. Use gross income to see gross yearly pay, or net income to see what you actually take home.
My income changes every month. What should I enter?
Use an average over the last 6 to 12 months for a realistic yearly figure.
